Pacific Air Academy is located at the Tacoma Narrows Airport, in beautiful Gig Harbor Washington.

Several factors combine to make the Puget Sound area one of the best areas in the country for flight training:

-The terrain is extremely varied, with mountains and ocean being separated by only minutes of flying. With downtown Tacoma, Seattle, Olympia, the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges, and Puget Sound only minutes away, there are few more beautiful places in the world to learn to fly.

-The weather in Tacoma is mild in general, with perfect flying weather for many months of the year. In the winter months, you will learn to deal with more adverse weather conditions like rain and wind without being thrown in to the harsher conditions found in most parts of the United States.

-The location of Tacoma Narrows Airport also provides an exciting traffic environment for students to learn in. With our close proximity to other towered airports at SeaTac, Renton, Boeing Field, Paine Field, and Olympia, students will gain valuable experience and confidence in dealing with air traffic control.
